We love summer at Hatton. Those long, lazy, hazy days when we just want to stay outside and enjoy all of our outdoor play areas and activities in our amazing Adventure World.
But we can’t ignore the wet weather that’s also part of our British summer (boo!). Instead we’ve created a huge amount for all the family to do indoors as well (hurray!). Rain never stops play at Hatton.
Our sensational Superslide Mania indoor play area is popular with all ages – and on sunny days, too! Are you brave enough to face our death defying drop slides? Or whoosh down our whizzy waves slides or crash into our big blue ballpit? And there’s stacks of climbing frames filled with fun obstacles plus ropewalks galore. Mums and dads can relax with a hot drink and watch the fun (or join in if they dare!).
Under 4s have their own special playzone and there’s even a sensory play area for babies and under 2s. No older children allowed!
Our animals adore seeing visitors when it rains and there’s lots to see and do in our covered Farmyard Friends, Guinea Pig Village and Scales and Tails areas. You can learn so much about animals at home and around the world, and every day you can feed, hold and stroke different creatures. Whether you prefer to snuggle up to a cuddly guinea pig or a slithery snake, the choice is yours at Hatton!
And of course no day out is complete without seeing at least one of our indoor family magic and puppet shows, featuring Zoobee and our terrific entertainments team. Shows run several times a day so just check your programme beforehand (it’s on our website as well) to see which are best for you.
Rain or shine, Snorty’s indoor restaurant is open all day – and there’s something for even the fussiest eater! You can choose from a range of hot or cold meals, snacks and drinks (and we’ve got lots of high chairs and baby facilities for little ones too). Our friendly staff are always happy to help you.
And there’s also the perfect opportunity to fit in a spot of shopping at Hatton Shopping Village – there’s loads of toys and hand-made sweets, as well as gorgeous jewellery and other goodies for grown-ups. It’s well worth a look before you leave!
