Learn to swim at Hatton Swimming Pool

Set in the heart of the stunning Hatton Country World, this 15m long, 1.2m deep swimming pool provides the local community with the opportunity to take advantage of five-stage award-winning swim lessons. Not only is being able to swim a potentially life-saving skill, but it’s also fantastic fun, whether you’re in a pool or at the beach; both at home or abroad.

At Hatton Swimming Pool, classes are small, meaning you’ll progress quickly, aided and abetted by the hugely talented and experienced team of coaches. Meanwhile, you can also keep an eye on your child’s progress from the dedicated spectator’s area within the pool. Everyone Active’s Swimming lessons are consistent award-winners, while Everyone Active itself has been named Operator of the Year by ukactive five times in the last eight years.

Lessons for Children

Every year, the swimming programmes offered by Everyone Active supports more than 125,000 children to learn this life-saving skill. Classes follow the Swim England Learn to Swim framework and students gain Learn to Swim Framework (LTS) awards, as well as those for distance swimming. Naturally, all our instructors are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)-checked as your child’s safety is our top priority.

Your child will receive a different coloured swimming hat depending on their class level, but if they are not happy or comfortable in that class, you can request a transfer between classes at any time.

Lessons for Adults

As well as teaching people who have never learned to swim, our lessons for adults also help more able swimmers to improve their technique and stroke.

Whatever your age or ability, our swimming teachers will help you progress. Building your confidence and ability in and around water will, in turn, open up a new world of possibilities to enable you to be more active.

One-to-one swimming lessons

Our individual classes cater for one or two students at a time. These are intended to help you or your children focus on a specific requirement or area for improvement. Sessions are open to all ages and abilities.

About Everyone Active

Part of Sports and Leisure Management Ltd, Everyone Active is the longest-established leisure contractor in the UK, having founded in 1987.

We are called Everyone Active for a reason: we have made it our mission to encourage everyone we come into contact with to participate in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity, either in one of our centres or via online training, five times per week.

To help us achieve this mission, we manage more then 150 leisure and cultural centres across the UK in partnership with over 45 different local authorities.

We are passionate about being active and staying healthy, and we want our members to be too. Wheather it is state-of-the art gym equipment, excellent sports facilities, Swim England-accredited swimming programmes or fun activities for children, our centres aim to offer something for the entire community to enjoy.
