Enchanted Christmas Kingdom FAQs
How do I purchase a ticket?
To guarantee your visit to Father Christmas, we recommend that you purchase tickets in advance from our website.
Our Enchanted Christmas Kingdom is extremely popular so we have timed slots to visit Father Christmas which means your queue time should be a maximum of 20 minutes.
How far in advance do I have to book?
We recommend to book as early as possible in order to guarantee your preferred time slot. Our ticketing structure also offers different prices for different dates plus the earlier you book the bigger discount you get.
Do I have to book online or can I just turn up?
You are welcome to just turn up on the day and if we have spaces available, a time slot will be allocated to you when you arrive. However these will be on a first come, first served basis and are dependant on the advance bookings made online. We will not be able to guarantee any particular time, although we will guarantee a visit to Father Christmas on the same day.
If you would like to guarantee your visit at a particular time, we recommend you take advantage of the online booking facility.
What time do I need to arrive at the Grotto if I have pre booked a Father Christmas visit?
We do ask that you arrive at the Father Christmas Grotto before the time slot specified on your ticket (eg 2.30pm time slot, please arrive between 2.20pm and 2.30pm) since arrivals outside of these times cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated.
Please note that you must be through the admissions kiosk well before your time slot, leaving enough time to get to the Grotto.
What happens if I am late for my timed visit?
If you are late for your visit and arrive outside of your allocated time slot, we will of course do our best to accommodate you in another time slot. However this cannot be guaranteed and could involve a longer wait and potential disappointment to your little ones.
How long will we have to queue?
As we are operate with timed slots, this means you will see Father Christmas within your time slot and the longest queue time should be a maximum of 20 minutes.
During your queuing (which is all undercover) we will have lots of activities and entertainment to keep your little ones entertained.
Can I visit the Adventure World before and after my Father Christmas visit time?
Absolutely! The time on your ticket is the time you have booked your visit to Father Christmas, you are welcome to enter the Adventure World from 10am – 5.30pm and partake in all of the other Christmas activities we have on offer before and after your visit to Father Christmas.
What activities are there to do?
You can spend all day at Hatton but we recommend that to get the best of the experience you allow at least 3 hours. Besides seeing the big man himself, there is a load of really great festive activities in which to take part.
Are the Activities Undercover?
Don’t worry – all of our Enchanted Christmas Kingdom activities are UNDERCOVER. We do advise you to come dressed in warm clothes for walking between the activities.
Is it an authentic Christmas Experience, are there elves and reindeer?
Of course. Father Christmas is bringing all his elves to Hatton this year to help him and not forgetting two of his very special reindeer that visitors will be able to see.
Don’t forget Hatton Shopping Village is also open throughout the festive season featuring oodles of unique and unusual gifts, as well as the special Christmas market events. See our Shopping Village website for details.
Is it an individual experience or a group experience?
We do offer group visits to the Enchanted Kingdom, but each child (or children from the same family) will receive a private visit to see Father Christmas.
For information on Christmas group visits, please call the office on 01926 844331.
What are the opening times?
Father Christmas will be at Hatton every weekend from 30th November to 24th December 2019.
He will also be here 19th and 20th December 2019. We are open 10am – 5.30pm on all of these days.
Does Father Christmas give my a child a gift?
Absolutely! But at Hatton Father Christmas is so magical that instead of giving each child a wrapped gift, he gives them their own golden key… This allows them to enter his Toyshop and choose their own present off the shelves.
Can my baby come and see Father Christmas?
Children under the age of 1 that are coming with an older sibling (that already has a booked time slot) can accompany their older sibling free of charge, although they won’t receive a gift.
For any under 2’s that would like a gift from Father Christmas an ‘Under 2’ ticket must be purchased for them.
