SEND & Accessibility
At Hatton Adventure World, we want every family to feel welcome, prepared and able to enjoy their visit in a way that works for them.
We know that for many SEND families, a good day out starts before you arrive. This page brings together helpful information about planning your visit, accessibility, carers’ tickets, sensory support and quieter visiting options, so you can decide what feels right for your family.
SEND-Friendly Events
Throughout the year, we aim to offer selected SEND-friendly sessions, providing families with opportunities to visit during specially organised events.
These events may include reduced visitor numbers or adapted activities where advertised, helping families enjoy Hatton Adventure World in a more relaxed environment.
Summer SEND Morning
Join us for our very first SEN Summer Morning at Hatton Adventure World on Thursday 23rd July. This exclusive session has been specially designed for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), offering a calmer and more relaxed way to enjoy the park. From 09:00am to 1:00pm, the park will be open exclusively to SEN visitors and their families, with visitor numbers strictly limited to help create a more comfortable environment. During this time, there will be no music or public announcements throughout the park. From 1:00pm onwards, the park will reopen to all visitors and our standard Great Summer of Adventure programme will resume.
SEND Christmas Morning
A calmer, magical Christmas experience designed for every child to enjoy. Join us for a specially adapted festive day filled with gentle magic, smiles and sparkle, created with SEN children and their families in mind. Enjoy meeting Father Christmas at your own pace with flexible grotto time slots, decorate festive treats in the Gingerbread Decorating Factory, watch Mr Holly’s quiet, music-free Christmas Show, create magical reindeer food, post your Christmas wishes at the North Pole Postal Station, and choose your very own toy or Create-a-Bear from the Toy Shop.
