Welcome to The Parenting Paddock, our weekly parent networking hour at Hatton Adventure World. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to slow down, connect with other parents and guardians, and hear from a range of guest speakers covering different aspects of pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and early parenting.
Each session includes a 30-minute talk, followed by time to chat, connect, and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.
The Parenting Paddock takes place weekly on Thursdays at 1pm and is designed to be supportive, informative, and friendly whether you’re expecting, newly navigating parenthood, or simply looking to connect with others on a similar journey.

Tickets & Entry
The Parenting Paddock is included with all standard entry tickets to Hatton Adventure World and is free for all Adventure World members.
For guests attending on their own who are not bringing an accompanying child, we also offer a Parenting Paddock Adult Admission ticket, giving access specifically to these sessions.

What is The Parenting Paddock?
The Parenting Paddock is a weekly parent networking session at Hatton Adventure World, featuring a 30-minute talk from a guest speaker followed by time to relax, chat, and connect with other parents, guardians and other like minded individuals.
When does The Parenting Paddock take place?
Sessions take place on selected Thursday’s at 1pm, please see sessions above for dates.
Where do the sessions take place?
The Parenting Paddock is located within Adventure World inside our family theatre located at the top of the park.
How long does each session last?
Each session lasts around one hour, including the talk and informal networking time afterwards.
Who is The Parenting Paddock suitable for?
The sessions are suitable for expectant parents, new parents, and guardians, as well as anyone looking for support, advice, or connection during early parenthood.
Can I bring my baby or child with me?
Yes! Babies and young children are very welcome. Prams, baby carriers, and feeding during the session are all absolutely fine.
Do I need to book in advance?
Ticket’s for Hatton Adventure World are required. This gives you access to these sessions. You do not have to pre-book the session itself, just turn up.
Is The Parenting Paddock included in my ticket or membership?
Yes. The Parenting Paddock is included with all standard entry tickets and free for Adventure World members.
We also offer a Parenting Paddock Adult Admission ticket for guests attending without an accompanying child.
Is there an additional charge to attend the sessions?
No additional charge applies if you have a valid entry ticket or membership. Complimentary tea or coffee is included during the session.
Is The Parenting Paddock a formal class?
No, the sessions are designed to be relaxed, informal, and supportive, with no pressure to participate or speak unless you want to.
Can I attend more than one session?
Yes! You’re very welcome to attend as many sessions as you like, you will require a ticket for each visit. We would therefore recommended a membership or the little adventurer’s pass.
